Dr. Mark Tripp, D.D.S., P.A.
Dr. Mark Tripp, DDS was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He completed an undergraduate degree in Human Physiology at The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada and received the Gold Medal of Honour for the program.
In 1997, Dr. Tripp completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery also from The University of Western Ontario. He came to Charlotte, NC following dental school for a 2 year General Practice Residency training program at Carolinas Medical Center. He maintains an affiliation with CMC with operating room privileges for patients in need of general anesthesia.
Dr. Tripp provides comprehensive services of general and cosmetic dentistry including root canal therapy, oral surgery, crowns/bridges, implants, veneers/lumineers, Invisalign and esthetic composite fillings. His current memberships include the Charlotte Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society and American Dental Association.
Dr. Tripp and his wife, Landi reside in Charlotte with their three triplet boys, Harlan, Conley, and Nolen as well as with their 2 dogs, Sophie and Irish. In their spare time they enjoy golf, triathlons, travel and entertaining. Dr. Tripp also participates in local ice hockey and softball leagues. They have both participated in events with Teams in Training in support of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Dr. Andre Brun, D.M.D.
Dr. Andre Brun is a double graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a BSc in chemistry (1997) and a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (2004). From 2004 to 2007, Dr. Brun specialized in Oral Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. In this program, he focused on treating hospital patients with general dental needs, as well as patients with TMJ disorder, Sjogren's syndrome (dry mouth) and many different mouth related conditions.
For relaxation, Dr. Brun and his wife Chantal enjoy outdoor activities, such as golf, tennis and hiking. They also enjoy exercising at the YMCA and traveling.
Dr. Armen Balasanyan, D.D.S.
LandMark Dentistry would like to announce the addition of a new doctor to our team. I am very pleased to introduce Dr. Armen Balasanyan to you, our patients and your families.
Dr. Armen has been in Charlotte since graduating from Indiana University in 2009. Dr. Armen was born in Armenia and raised in Rostov, Russia. After graduating from high school at the age of 16 his family moved to the United States. Dr. Armen successfully taught himself the English language and went on to study medical biology at the University of Utah prior to entering dental school.
Dr. Armen is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. He is proficient at and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including restorative crown and bridge therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, denture therapy, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry and composite/cosmetic fillings.
Dr. Armen and is wife Arfine have 2 children, Isabelle and Tigran and are proud to call Charlotte home. They enjoy traveling, hiking and spending time with family.
In 2008, Dr. Armen celebrated one of his most prestigious life momets when he was sworn in as a United States citizen.
Dr. Jennifer A. Slaughter, D.M.D.
Dr. Slaughter is a Charlotte native whose family still resides in the area. Dr. Slaughter went to Providence High School and then on to Queens University of Charlotte, where she received her degree in Biology. Afterwards, Dr. Slaughter attended the Medical University of South Carolina wherein she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine. Although having very much enjoyed Charleston, Charlotte is home for Dr. Slaughter and where she wants to practice dentistry.
Dr. Slaughter was married in March of 2011. Her husband, Seth, and she are both avid dog lovers; they share their home with their Boxer, Cinder, and Boston Terriers, Gabe and Tate. Dr. Slaughter is an avid reader and loves photography. Proudly, Dr. Slaughter remains very active in her church and greatly enjoys doing volunteer work as a means to give back to her community. Professionally, Dr. Slaughter is an active member of the American Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Charlotte Dental Society. Dr. Slaughter is thrilled to be a part of the LandMark Dentistry team and to have the opportunity of providing your dental healthcare. Dr. Slaughter only practices ar the Matthews location.
